An abandoned Wisconsin mill town. A blood cult that never really left. Something the government buried under a different name. You're not the first person to go looking — you'll just be the first to write about it.
Baldwin used to be a working town — mills, rail lines, a church that ran the block. Then it wasn't. Officially, it's a ghost town. Unofficially, something is still down there, and it's been waiting for someone curious enough to come find it.
Urban Explorer: Baldwin is a low-poly, PSX-styled survival horror game built in Godot. Across five chapters you'll piece together what happened to the town through notes, environmental storytelling, and the kind of encounters you don't get a second chance to run from.
Normal — the intended horror experience, with checkpointed progress and standard resource pacing.
Nightmare — no safety net. Doors relock, keys respawn, and your inventory resets if you die. Built for players who've already finished the game once and want it to actually hurt.
If you've played Amnesia: The Dark Descent or Outlast, you know the register this game is working in — vulnerability over combat, dread over jump-scare spam, and a story you have to go digging for.
